Just a short note to thank you and Ramon and the crew for another excellent spring garden clean up job. As always, we found it a joy to deal with such courteous, skilled professionals who always treat our home and plantings with respect and care. Your inspired design, sage advice and careful maintenance have made our property a neighborhood landmark of exceptional natural beauty.

As you may recall, in 1999, when we first contacted you, we were dealing with severe landscaping problems, including ugly views from our new sunroom, poor yard drainage, an odd shaped long narrow lot and poor curb appeal. We interviewed several landscape firms and were underwhelmed with their responses and plans. On the advice of a friend, we contacted you and we have never been sorry. Your incredible design and inspired choice of plant material added stunning visual interest to our property, incorporated a novel dry pond to solve our drainage problem, and made the entire landscape a treat and an adventure for young and old alike.

Over time your landscape design has substantially increased the value of our property, benefited the local environment, and been an excellent conversation starter with neighbors and passers by. We are constantly approached by people who tell us how much they admire the garden. Recently, a man told us that he altered his regular walking route to pass our house because we have “the best landscaped home in Riverside.”

An interesting phenomenon has also occured. We are flooded with flyers from other landscapers wanting our business. We think we know why. Everyone wants to take credit for the work of Rich Miyazaki and Stonewood Design!
